Infants Less than Two Months

THE FIRST VISIT TO THE OFFICE

Recommendations:

Infants discharged from the hospital at less than 48 hours of age should be examined by a physician within 2-3 days of discharge.

Infants born at home should have a thorough examination by a physician within 24 hrs of birth.
